Healthcare & Wellness Scholarships

Each year, Hancock Regional Hospital Foundation awards at least one $2,000 healthcare and wellness scholarship to support local students and encourage entry into healthcare and wellness professions.

Edith Zike Nursing Scholarship

The Edith Zike Nursing Scholarship was created in 1970 to encourage entry into the nursing profession. Scholarships of up to $2,000 per recipient are awarded each year. 

John F. Stickford Nursing Scholarship

The John F. Stickford Nursing Scholarship promotes excellence in nursing by supporting local nursing students. The scholarship covers the cost of the recipient’s tuition for one year.

The School of Radiologic Technology Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to individuals currently enrolled in Hancock Regional Hospital’s School of Radiologic Technology. Applicants must live in the hospital’s service area* or work in Hancock County.
